Maggie Cheung Man Yuk Can't Wait to See Carina Lau

Maggie Cheung Man Yuk Can't Wait to See Carina Lau

Turning 46 on September 20, Maggie Cheung is still a shinning star. She immediately became one of the focus when she arrived to Venice Film Festival. Although she is just staying 2 days, but she would be busy going to all kinds of event. Appearing in casual attire at the premier of her short film "Better Life," she accepted interview from reporters: "I would only stay two days, because I have other work to do. (Boyfriend Ole Scheeren didn't come?) No. (Would you go to watch Carina Lau's <<狄仁傑>>?) Of course."
Rumors of Maggie hooking up with Tony Leung Chi Wan flared after they worked in "In the Mood For Love" in 1998. Two years later, Tony even appeared on the red carpet with Maggie and girlfriend Carina at the same time. The three men appearance is very rare and it was even rumored Maggie was banned to attend to Tony and Carina's wedding. It's hard to avoid outsiders judging there is a change in their friendship.
This time openly supporting Carina, Maggie has a high chance appearing with Carina together today. This is definitely an anticipating scene for the media.
Maggie went to visit friends John Woo, Lau Wai Keung, Stanley Kwan, and Tsui Hark etc when she arrived Venice. Shawn Yue even got to meet Maggie and he was like a little fan who longs a group picture. When reporters went to ask him how did he feel, he appeared embarrassed and blushed. He just said: "Not telling you!"
In addition, Maggie expressed she is picking new screenplays but no important work has been confirmed. She is happy to continue being someone free.

Fahrenheit admits to kissing each other

Fahrenheit admits to kissing each other

Rest assured fans, your pretty boys are not homosexuals.
On a recent episode of Taiwanese variety show, SS Xiao Yan's Night, the four member band made a surprising revelation that they had shared smooches amongst themselves.
"We'd get nervous when kissing our co-actresses, hence, we practice by kissing with each other!" explained Aaron Yan.
Singing aside, the members of Fahrenheit have all been involved in various acting projects, many of which were collaborations with beautiful idol drama actresses.
So did Wu Chun feel anything special when kissing Ariel Lin, whom he had earlier collaborated with in Tokyo Juliet?
"That was my first ever kissing scene and she helped me a lot," the reserved Wu Chun replied, averting the question.
On the other hand, Aaron Yan, who is the youngest of the group, named his Patty Hou as his most memorable on screen kiss.
But the title of "champion kisser" undoubtedly went to Jiro Wang.
Crowned as the "lucky one", Jiro had shared kisses with actresses Genie Zuo, Rainie Yang, Larisa and Cyndi Wang.
"In my first drama, I did not get to kiss Ariel Lin. Following that, I expressed my disappointment to the company, and every other drama that I'd starred in would involve kissing scenes thereafter," explained Jiro.

Wu Chun flares up on film set

Wu Chun flares up on film set

Even the most mild-mannered person has a temper.
Known for being highly patient, pop idol Wu Chun reached his limits when it came to matters of his family.
According to reports, Wu Chun flew into a rage on the set of his new drama Sunshine Angel.
Wu Chun's dad had dropped by the set to visit his son. The pair had lots to catch up but their reunion was interrupted when the drama's crew kept rushing Wu Chun to start work, making him annoyed.
In response to the incident, the filial son explained that he had flown into a fury as he's had little time to spend with his dad, who had specially made a trip from Brunei to visit him.
"(My) work schedule was packed, so my dad came to Taiwan to visit me. He stayed in my house for four days, yet we only spoke for less than half an hour. It's an exaggeration to say that I flew into a rage, but honestly, I wasn't in the best of mood."
Wu Chun also added that he has not had a chance to return to Brunei ever since his debut on the silver screens. Even hopes of a proper reunion with his father were dashed when he was stuck filming in Taiwan, Yilan for three days during his father's visit.
Following Fahrenheit's latest album, Too Hot, release this month, Wu Chun had been kept on his feet with work, shuffling between photo shoots, music video shoots, promotional activities and drama filming.
"I've never been so tired since my debut. I haven't slept for days. After finishing an entire day of drama shoot, I've to film MVs, after which, I've to rush back to the filming set. It seems that I've only gotten less than 10 hours of rest in four days, I wish that I've got a clone," he laments.

Gay Assistant Moves into Bowie Lam’s House

Gay Assistant Moves into Bowie Lam’s House

Rarely implicated in rumors throughout his twenty-four year career, Bowie Lam was romantically rumored with Flora Chan Wai Sanmany years ago. Afterwards, he has often been romantically linked with his male personal assistants. To avoid his sexual orientation affecting his appeal to the audience, Bowie suddenly revealed in 2004 that he once had a girlfriend whom he dated for two years. However, this “girlfriend” was like a “vanishing spirit” [and was only spotted by the press once].
Linked with Mr. Hong Kong , Bryon Pang
In 2007, former Mr. Hong Kong contestant, Bryon Pang Koon Kei, appeared at Bowie Lam’s mother’s funeral. The event brought to light Bowie and Bryon’s relationship. However due to Bryon’s alleged involvement with gay film director, Wan Yik, Bowie ’s friendship with Bryon ended. Bowie became closer with his male personal assistant, who had worked for him since 2005. His assistant moved into Bowie ’s house and was allowed free use of his car.
Forty-four year-old Bowie ’s sexual orientation has always been a mystery. His close companions have always been men. Several years ago, allegedly Bowie became intimate with his personal fitness trainer, Daniel. The pair even invested in a clothing store together. After the store closed [due to poor sales], Daniel became Bowie ’s personal assistant. Daniel often spent the night at Bowie ’s house. Bowie and Daniel’s relationship was not announced but the intimacy was self-evident. In 2004, during the filming of television series <邂逅> in Beijing , Bowie met an extra on the set, whose features resembled Raymond Lam Fung. Bowie got along very well with him and made him his new personal assistant.
For a long time, Bowie treated his Raymond-Lam-look-a-like assistant only as a subordinate. In 2007, Bowie was still involved with Bryon Pang. Concerned about his sexual orientation having an impact on his popularity, Bowie concealed his relationships. Allegedly, Bowie ’s assistant continued to quietly accept the situation, realizing that Bryon Pang’s outspoken personality will not tolerate keeping the relationship underground for long.
Last year, gay film director, Wan Yik started fully supporting Bryon’s career and paying for his living expenses. Moving into Wan Yik’s Happy Valley home, Bryon was also allowed free access to his Ferrari and Maserati cars. The most important thing was that Bryon and Wan Yik’s relationship was open and the pair went out with their friends publicly. Last year, Bryon officially ended his relationship with Bowie .
Assistant Moves into Bowie ’s House
Perhaps Bowie’s break-up with Bryon Pang made him realize that his personal assistant suited his tastes more. Yesterday, Bowie and his assistant were spotted shopping together for groceries. His assistant acted as the chauffer and even helped carry bank financial statements and other personal items. It was apparent that after working for many years for Bowie , his assistant was held in great-confidence.
After several days’ observation, reporters spotted Bowie ’s assistant driving Bowie ’s BMW car to an auto-repair shop, which was owned by Bowie ’s younger brother. Afterwards, Bowie ’s assistant returned to Bowie ’s house in Ma On Shan to stay overnight. His assistant remained in Bowie ’s house throughout yesterday afternoon.

Bosco Wong Disappointed by His Own Acting and Entered Depression

Bosco Wong Disappointed by His Own Acting and Entered Depression

Bosco Wong Chung Chak portrayed a villain for the first time in Growing Through Life <摘星之旅>, Since he had high expectations for this role, he experienced depression and disappointment in the end results. Reflecting calmly over the situation, Bosco hoped to have additional opportunities to play villains in the future, confident that he will portray the evilness well. “I had a good time portraying the villain role in Growing Through Life. Earlier, Producer Tommy Leung Ka Shu, told me that he originally intended to cast me in Raymond Lam Fung’s role. Raymond was supposed to play the villain instead. However, I unexpectedly landed in my first villain role!”
Did Bosco fall in love with villain roles? “Yes, I did! As a villain, you can incorporate many elements [and emotions] into the characterizations and they will seem reasonable. I find it boring to always portray well-off characters or good, honorable roles. I do not want to be stereotyped to certain roles only. If possible, I would like to portray an effeminate, flirtatious (好姣) character!”
Despite the audience’s mediocre response to Growing Through Life since its broadcast, Bosco continued to support the series as a good production. Due to his busy current schedule in filming Female Fist <女拳>, Bosco has only been able to watch sporadic episodes of his own performance in Growing Through Life. Asked how he rated his own performance, Bosco said, “Initially, I thought my performance was okay. After watching the aired episodes, I can not pin-point what is bad, but my performance is just passing. There are still many areas for me to improve.”
“Coupled with these emotions, I was quite depressed and lost for some time. I never felt this way before; I never had such a lack of confidence in myself. Perhaps Growing Through Life was my first villain role. With the high expectations, I became even more critical about myself. I hope for additional opportunities to portray villain roles; I believe I will perform better next time.”
The Advantage in Filming at a Remote Location
Expressing gratitude in Power Chan Kwok Bong’s consolation, Bosco also thanked Damien Lau Chung Yan for his insight. “I was very fortunate to have Damien teach me so many things during the filming of Growing Through Life. He was very helpful. Prior to filming, we often discussed the script together over meals. He was very sharp and analyzed [the script and characterizations] deeply, spotting things which I did not even think of.”
“There was also an advantage to filming in China . Filming at a remote location, you do not have to think of anything else. You can focus on purely acting. The entire cast ate dinner together almost every day. We talked about many topics and discussed the script together. It was very helpful. ”
In response to the mediocre ratings, Bosco said, “In the past, I used to think about the ratings performance after filming a series. However, it is difficult to forecast the audience’s taste these days. So I can only do my best and not speculate [on matters beyond my control].”
