Gary Chaw was admitted in the Accident and Emergency unit on Monday night for what his manager said was arm injury. A hospital guard, however, witnessed Chaw coming in with a swollen face. Prior to his admission, the Malaysian singer was drinking in a pub with his friends, leading to speculation that he was involved in a fight again.
Chaw's manager explained to the media waiting outside the emergency room that the singer's friends were celebrating his birthday before his departure to China for work, and he is in hospital only because he has injured his arm.
"His arm was cut by the broken champagne glasses. They are thinner and easily broken. His friends were afraid that he'd contract tetanus so they sent him here for checks." The manager added that Chaw has no other injuries and thanked the media for their concern.
According to Taiwanese media reports, Chaw was drinking with a group of friends in the Taipei Shinyi District when the fire alarm at the pub sounded. The drunken Malaysian singer was rushed to the hospital via taxi by his friends during the chaos.
A hospital guard, however, expressed that he did not see Chaw's hand injury but saw that his face was swollen and was unable to walk so he had to be wheeled around on a bed.
Last November, Chaw was admitted in a hospital after being beaten up at a pub.

A prayer ceremony was held for TVB’s new series, "Cross Boundary Exploration" 《囧探查過界》, yesterday. In attendance were cast members, Wong He, Linda Chung Ka Yan, Raymond Wong Ho Yin, Sek Sau etc.
Recently there were rumors that Wong He has become the new favorite of TVB executive, Stephen Chan. Allegedly, Wong He also joined Stephen’s fan club. Wong He noted that he has been good friends with Stephen since 1992, thus he was not a “new favorite.” A netizen recently set up a website for Stephen Chan. Earlier, someone asked if Wong He would join and he joked he would if such a fan club were established.
When it was pointed out that he should also be a member of TVB executive, Catherine Tsang’s fan club, Wong He laughed and said it would be a better idea to combine Stephen and Catherine’s clubs together.
In the series, Linda’s character is a model. In each scene, she will have to wear a new hairstyle and many outfits. The frequent costume changing will be very tiring. Hollywood Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen actress Megan Fox recently openly expressed her interest in Korean star Rain and also a desire to date the latter, who replied plainly to her invite, "I'm not interested."
According to media reports, Fox has spoke numerously about her admiration for Rain while on the movie promotional tour.
